New England Development Project Approved

On November 4, 2003, the Leominster Planning Board approved the New England Development Project with a lengthy Order of Conditions. All of the requested conditions set forth in our September 2, 2003 letter from Attorney Mark Bodanza, as dictated by Steve Stearns on behalf of Liberty Commons Condominium association were fully adopted into the Leominster Planning Board’s Order of Conditions.

Protections will be in place to mitigate any potential negative impacts from the nearby mixed-use project that is slated to include a Wal-Mart Super Center, Lowe’s Home Improvement Center, and variety of restaurants and other businesses.
